Privacy Policy

RadioX requires no registration and has no account system. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts or location. What follows is exactly what stays on your device, and what is sent to third parties because of advertising.

What stays on your device

The following is written only to local storage. It is not uploaded to any server, and uninstalling the app removes all of it:

• Favourite stations, listening history, and the last station played
• Your choices in Settings, including stations you have blocked
• Cached station lists, kept so the app makes fewer network requests

We operate no servers, so there is nowhere for us to hold this data even if we wanted to.

Advertising

Ads in the app are served by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure them and to prevent fraud, AdMob collects your device's advertising identifier and IP address, your in-app interactions (launches, taps, video views) and diagnostic information (launch time, hang rate, energy usage), and shares that data with Google; the full scope is set out in Google's own privacy policy.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland you will see a consent form first, and no ads are requested until you have made a choice. That choice can be changed or withdrawn at any time under Settings → Advertising → Privacy options.

When you watch a rewarded video to earn ad-free listening, AdMob records that the ad was played and completed.

Who receives network requests

• Station directory searches go to Radio Browser's mirror servers. The request contains your search terms and nothing that identifies you.
• Audio during playback comes directly from the station's own server. Those servers see your IP address, exactly as they would if you visited them in a browser. That traffic does not pass through us and we do not control it.

What we do not do

• No accounts, so there is no account data to leak or sell
• No access to your contacts, photos, location or other files
• No uploading of your favourites, history or listening habits
• No selling or sharing of user data with third parties

Children

This app is not designed for children. The "Safe mode" setting in the app is a keyword filter over station tags, not a content rating system — Radio Browser provides no ratings — so it can only hide stations that label themselves accordingly, and comes with no guarantee.

Reporting content and copyright claims

This app is a directory of third-party stations. If you find content that violates the rules, or believe a station infringes your rights, write to archain@live.com and we will block it within the app.

Any update is published alongside an app release, with the date below changed accordingly.
